Kalel Mullings ran for a career-high 153 yards and two touchdowns to help No. 17 Michigan overcome Davis Warren’s three interceptions in a 28-18 win over Arkansas State on Saturday.

The penalties are adding up, too. Michigan was flagged four times for 49 yards against Arkansas State, which included three personal foul penalties against the defense — late hit out of bounds, face mask and roughing the passer — that extended drives. The final two directly resulted in the Red Wolves' two touchdowns on the game.

After a poor showing against Texas last week, the Wolverines have to build back their confidence. It is the first meeting between Michigan and Arkansas State, whose head coach is Saugatuck, Michigan native Butch Jones. Michigan kicker Dominic Zvada, who is 5-for-5 in field goals this season, will be facing his former team.
