DNA match leads to arrest in 1988 cold case killing of Boston woman Karen Taylor
Authorities said Holloman is facing a first-degree murder charge after being indicted and arrested by the Boston Police fugitive unit on Thursday in connection to the 1988 stabbing death of 25-year-old Karen Taylor, a resident of Boston's Roxbury neighborhood.
Suspect arrested in 1988 Boston cold case murder
A 65-year-old man was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with a cold case homicide dating back to 1988, the Boston Police Department announced. At about 4:44 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 19, members of the Fugitive Unit apprehended James Holloman of Dorchester in the area of Chipman Street.
Holloman was taken into custody pursuant to a murder warrant issued by Suffolk Superior Court for the murder of Karen Taylor.
