Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe praised the versatility of forward Joelinton, who was the catalyst for a come-from-behind 3-1 Premier League victory over hosts Nottingham Forest on Sunday that moved his side into the top half of the table.

Yet it was high-flying Nottingham Forest who struck first midway through the first half. Newcastle had half a dozen players standing along the six-yard line as Anthony Elanga stepped up to take a wide free-kick, but Alexander Isak took a couple of steps back, which inadvertently created space for Murillo to sprint into and head home.

Late goals by Joelinton and Harvey Barnes sealed a 3-1 comeback win for Newcastle United against Nottingham Forest in a hard-fought Premier League match at the City Ground. Murillo put the home side ahead with a header from a free-kick after just 20 minutes.
