Israel has for the first time confirmed that it was behind the operation in September to detonate hundreds of pagers used by Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday accepted to have "okayed" the pager attacks in Lebanon, two months after the deadly attacks killed 40 people and wounded 3,000 people in September.

Hezbollah has launched a series of missile strikes on Israeli military targets, including the Stella Maris naval base in Haifa, marking the second attack on the base in less than 24 hours. The group also targeted Ramat David airbase with a missile barrage,

The Israeli Air Force has destroyed launch sites used by Hezbollah militants to attack the Israeli cities of Acre and Ahihud. Additionally, dozens of terrorists have been eliminated within Lebanese territory,
