Bruno Fernandes has been praised after saving a passenger on an EasyJet flight from a medical emergency. The Manchester United midfielder is on international duty with Portugal to prepare for a Nations League match at home against Poland on Friday and took a flight from Manchester to Lisbon along with teammate Diogo Dalot.

Bruno Fernandes was reportedly at the centre of an unsual incident this week, with the Manchester United captain needing to help a passenger who became unwell on a flight. The Portuguese attacking midfielder played and scored for his team against Leicester on Sunday, the final match before new manager Ruben Amorim took over.

Football fan Susanna Lawson, 49, from Manchester, was sitting on the row just behind Red Devils skipper Fernandes on their easyJet flight to Lisbon, Portugal, and witnessed the moment the captain caught a man who appeared to have collapsed.
