Gorgeous place to see lots of flowers, especially roses. It’s a small park with a short walk so I ideal to include elderly and disabled. Perfect spot to take pictures of couples or families. For flow… Full review by italianlovers12

Can you bring food into the park? Could we pack a lunch and eat it somewhere in the park, perhaps a picnic table?

Oops - yes, the Rise garden and the beautiful park are excellent for a picnic.
Q:
what is the mulch for the roses?
A:
I know they use Garden compost but I am not certain of the exact nature of the mulch. Your answer might be found through an inquiry to the Friends of the Rose Test Garden website.

Yes there should be quantities of Roses in bloom.
