Stopped by this lovely gem while staying at the Hilton. There were families swimming, there is a lovely playground and lots of grounds for the kids to burn off some energy. Full review by witchbroomstick

My wife and I had a great time kayaking and hiking through this area. It was a beautiful day with bright blue skies and it could not have been more scenic. Take your time and enjoy this park. Full review by irawine

Hello: Depending on speed and physical endurance, it takes 1 1/2 - 3 hours. The river does get treacherous and you can get yourself killed. We rented at the Hawaiian Village for $35 person per kayak for an all-day rental. Their location puts you an easy paddle to the not-so-"Secret Falls" as well as the fern grotto and a swimming hole/cliff jump. You can also paddle down river from this location and use the afternoon wind to push you back up-river against the current while everyone else struggles in the opposite direction. No hidden fees and the cost includes entrance to a recreated village at the rental site.
